Our majors and minors in anthropology have been able to enter different worlds, transform their understanding of problems, and accomplish amazing things.
COURSES in sociocultural and linguistic anthropology
- take you into the world, from Peru to Pakistan, from Cuba to China, from Germany to New Guinea, from Botswana to Brazil, from Italy to Indonesia, and from Jordan to Japan.
- introduce you to new ways of understanding political relations, legal systems, gender dynamics, family ties and friendship, consumer culture and economic exchange, along with incredible ways of celebrating life and giving meaning to death.
- Anthropology makes the strange familiar, but it also makes the familiar strange. You will never look at your own life the same way again.
You can also MINOR in Sociocultural Anthropology or in Medical Anthropology.
