The Alice Neel exhibit at the Whitney in NY has her portrait of Arthur Shields, father of our late colleague Allen Shields. I can show the catalogue to anyone who is interested. Arthur Shields wrote on Sacco and Vanzetti, for the Daily Worker and worked for the American Communist Party. He did publish a biography.
