Besides researching, writing, and teaching about the sense of sight and about visual culture, I am a visual artist. I studied art at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (Fine Arts Department: Special Student, 1995-96, ; B.F.A. Program, 1996-98, n.d.) and maintained my painting practice through graduate school and beyond, while studying with some wonderful artists and teachers.
