This website provides information about the research in the Schiefelbein Laboratory in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan.  Our overarching goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms that enable distinct cell fates to arise during the development of multicellular organisms.
