You’re invited to join us for the November 20th meeting of the statewide Food Hub network in Ann Arbor. This (free) day-long event hosted by the Center for Regional Food Systems is a terrific opportunity to network with more than 100 food system stakeholders from across Michigan. In addition to updates from around the state, the program will feature a presentation and tour of the new Washtenaw Food Hub, and we’ve asked our friends at the Tilian Farm Development Center and Food Gatherers to participate too.
We want to highlight the emerging collaboration among farmers, entrepreneurs, institutions, local government and nonprofits working to strengthen the food system in Washtenaw County. The tours will show how the Washtenaw Food Hub and our partners are working to increase access to good food and grow new businesses that will improve health, create new jobs, and contribute to a thriving local economy. We hope you can join us to meet and be inspired by the many leaders and innovators in our community.
