Maureen Black is a pediatric psychologist who specializes in intervention research related to children’s nutrition, health, and development conducted in low-income communities in Baltimore and in developing countries. Her research includes nutrition and child development, focusing on both undernutrition (failure-to-thrive) and overweight, and conducts intervention trials designed to examine strategies to promote children’s health and development.
