Opportunities for Undergraduate Research

The University of Michigan provides many opportunities for students to get involved in original research.

Freshman and Sophomore students can apply to the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) at the beginning of each year.

Juniors and Seniors can earn credit for independent research through EEB or MCDB.
