Ainash_Bigham_lab

I am a PhD candidate in Biological Anthropology and Toxicology. My dissertation research is on the epigenomic signatures of adaptation to high-altitude hypoxia in the Peruvian Andes. I am also interested in the effects of lead exposure on the epigenome.

My research interests include human evolutionary genetics, human epigenetics, gene x environment interactions, aDNA.

I am a member of the Bigham laboratory of Anthropological Genomics and the Dolinoy laboratory of Environmental Epigenetics and Nutrition.
