In recent years, Asian Americans have increasingly encountered racial and ethnic discrimination, even hate crimes. Our research program conducted at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor aims at understanding these adversarial experiences, how they influence the lives of Asian Americans, and how Asian Americans cope with them. Our research aims at uncovering coping strategies and resources that can strengthen both Asian American individuals and communities when facing discrimination.
We are looking for interview subjects for our research study, and we are inviting Asian American individuals to take part in a confidential one-hour online interview to share their experiences. Participants will receive a compensation of $25 in the form of a gift card for the interview. The information collected will be used for academic research.
