This is one of my favorite covers from the entire series. The crisp and clean deco style of Moore’s linework, sense of proportion and composition pull you in. The placid beauty unbalances when you notice the jarring earring, and then the ambiguity continues to grow when you see the heart-shaped reflection in her eye.
This cover came out in April 2004, the month after Cerebus#300.
