The UM Biological Station is currently accepting applications. This is a good opportunity to receive course credit while out in the field. Opportunities for funding and scholarships are also available. Please see below for more information.

It’s time to apply for courses at the UMich Biological Station!
Earn up to 12 credits taking science and humanities classes outdoors in northern Michigan.
We will begin reviewing SCHOLARSHIP applications after March 15.
You may apply later than that, but we will have made many of our awards.
Into examining and observing your place in the world?
Check out the Great Lakes Arts, Cultures, and Environments (GLACE) program.
Its application deadline is extended until Friday, March 11.
