Subject: Re: EEB Seminar Series – Thursday, 3/10
Hello all,
Please join us on Thursday, March 10th, from 4-5pm in 1060 BSB for our EEB Seminar Series. Our featured speaker will be Emília Martins, Professor, School of Life Sciences, Arizona State University. This event will behosted by Alison Davis Rabosky, Assistant Professor & Assistant Curator, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
LIVE STREAM: https://umich.zoom.us/j/96295962346
TALK TITLE: Predicting behavior in a changing world: Sensory resilience and climate change
PREVIEW: Whether organisms survive climate change depends on their abilities to sense environmental shifts and to respond accordingly. We can use evolutionary inferences about historical changes in sensory behavior to predict future resilience to climate change. Here, I illustrate this process with our own studies of Sceloporus lizard communication and wild zebrafish social behavior.
