On behalf of CPDO, and in cooperation with CALC|UM, we would like to extend an exciting invitation to my fellow graduate students and post-docs to attend a site visit to BASF in southeast Michigan. This event will take place on November 16th from 8am to 1pm. the agenda will include the following:
– an overview of BASF research in the Midwest:
– Midwest Hub Overview
– Analytics North America
– Emulsion Polymers & SGOs
– Research Engineering Services
– Amphiphilic Systems
– Structural Materials & Systems
– a pilot plant tour
– lunch and poster session

We are looking for 10-15 people to attend this event and will focus on trying to include mostly 3rd+ years who will be looking for jobs in the foreseeable future. Registration will close on October 28th @ 5pm.

The poster session will be an opportunity for graduate students and post-docs to present their research to scientists and leaders at BASF. You will need to submit an abstract by November 4th for the poster you would like to present if you are selected to attend the event.
