Welcome to the final morning session of camp — Best of Camp Explorations! We are so excited to share our favorite activities from the summer with your camper. To help you learn about our curriculum, we have created a list of questions you can ask your camper each day.
On Monday, we will explore the world of dinosaurs. Campers will make a stegosaurus back plate hat, work as a paleontologist and put bones back together, investigate dinosaur data, and go on a tour of the Evolution Gallery.

On Tuesday, campers will become junior engineers! We will build rockets, work with Ozobots, design mazes for Hexbugs, and create their own pop up card.

On Wednesday, we will head into outer space and explore astronomy. Campers will learn about star formation, create nebula spin art, use a star finder, launch their rocket, and watch a planetarium show.

On Thursday, campers will dive into the world of ecology. Today, we will go to the UMMA Museum and explore our watersheds. Campers will also learn how land use impacts water quality through a hands-on activity.

On Friday, we will learn all about animals. The Leslie Science Center will bring in live animals for the Fur, Feathers, and Scales show. Then, we will complete the Great Migration Challenge and check out the Michigan Gallery before heading to the Arb for lunch.
