2024-2025
March 18: Resolving Conflict in the Lab and in Life. While differing opinions and work/life styles are inevitable, nonproductive conflict is not. Learn new skills for deescalating and navigating friction in professional and interpersonal relationships from trained facilitators from the UM Office of Student Conflict Resolution.

December 9: Advanced Word Workshop. Work more efficiently on dissertations, large review manuscripts, and more after attending this training and connecting with Rob, who is a great troubleshooting resource. We suggest bringing your laptop to practice the tools and tips during the workshop.

November 18: Adobe Illustrator Workshop. This workshop will be presented at two different levels so you can choose the starting point most appropriate for you.

October. Complete your CBI Biosketch and your CBI Individual Development Plan. Schedule your one-on-one meeting with either co-PI Scott or Koutmou.
September 30. 6-9 pm. An important part of our first meeting of the year is to gather information on professional and career development content that you want and which you might not be getting through other channels. We’ll also be scheduling our meeting dates for the rest of the year so bring your calendars. The other mission for our first meeting is to help everyone get to know each other so we’ll be hosting a bonfire/cookout.
