Postdoctoral Fellow
Margaret is a postdoctoral fellow with the Cognitive Evolution Group. She received a PhD in Anthropology from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York/New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology, with a focus on primate nutritional ecology and female social behavior. She was previously a postdoctoral researcher in comparative cognition in a joint appointment at Carnegie Mellon University and UC Berkeley. Her current research focuses on the evolution of leadership, also in collaboration with the Kibale Chimpanzee Project.
