Erica is from Tawas, Michigan. She is currently a junior in the lab studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity. She first got involved with the lab as an NSF REU student in 2023 on the Kluane Red Squirrel Project. She is currently conducting her honors thesis exploring how phenotypic variation in maternal attentiveness in North American red squirrels is maintained. In her free time, she enjoys running as a part of the Michigan Running Club on campus and reading.
