The University of Michigan Central Student Government passed Resolution AR 9-069, “A Declarative and Directive Resolution Calling for the Reduction of Light Pollution by the University of Michigan” on March 20, 2020. The Resolution was delivered to President Schlissel and other university administrators.
TK Lawless Park Seeks State Status
The newly named T. K. Lawless International Dark Sky Park is seeking State of Michigan status as a dark sky preserve. The Michigan House of Representatives has passed a bill, which now goes to the State Senate.
