Welcome! I am very fortunate to be a part of two amazing academic departments at the University of Michigan, where I am a doctoral candidate in the departments of Sociology and Health Management & Policy. I am fascinated by genomics, bioethics, public health and health disparities research. I am currently investigating social, policy and equity implications of human genome editing.  My work draws on sociology, science and technology studies, health services research and philosophy, my master’s degree discipline and the subject area of more than 10 years of my teaching.
