The Story Lab’s place-based programming exposes young adults to a wide range of water-linked education, career, and community leadership pathways. Participants who find inspiration in the river often express interest in learning more. In order to showcase some of these opportunities, we have been interviewing Detroiters who have made significant contributions in fields connected with the river’s multi-layered stories and compiling one-page profiles about their work and the interests that led them to it.
