Trudi Minkiewicz was one of the more personable people I interviewed. She took over her family’s soda shop on Chene after her father and brother passed away. She never married and is very active at St. Hyacinth Church. I interviewed her for the first time alone at her apartment in October 2002. The second time was with a group of people at Ronnie Kuskowski’s house in November of 2002. The short third interview was conducted in person at her home in December 2004. The final interview was conducted over the telephone in December 2004.
