DHSP was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my freshman year. I am so happy Mark’s email labeled “Calculus Opportunity” (that I thought was kind of sketchy at the time) was the one in my spam folder that stuck out to me. Mark is a truly wonderful person who really loves to teach and I think (even if you don’t like math) you can come to appreciate its applications and change the way you see the world. Anyway, I’ve come to like mathematics a lot more than I already did before. Denise Bonsu
