About Me

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Michigan in the Department of Political Science. My research is about the relationship between citizens and democratic institutions, focusing particularly on how citizens react to institutional changes through voting and protest behavior. My dissertation focuses on the political behavior of displaced persons in Colombia and how institutional changes can raise participation rates in this group.

I received a B.A. in Political Science and Chinese from the University of Notre Dame in 2014 and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2018.
