Call for Abstracts

Abstracts may be in any area of formal or experimental sign language research. We invite abstracts for 45-minute on-stage presentation (30-minute presentation plus 15-minute Q&A) during the general session as well as mini-presentations and/or research posters. No special sessions are planned and all abstracts will be considered for each of the presentation formats.

FEAST 2024 Call for Abstracts – in ASL

Abstract submission guidelines:

  • Abstracts may be submitted in writing (English) or in video (ASL, IS).
  • Individuals are limited to submitting two abstracts in total, only one of which can be single-authored. 
  • Written abstracts must be no longer than two pages single-spaced (including tables, examples, and references) with at least 12-point font and 2.5cm/1in margins. Written abstracts should be submitted anonymously and in PDF format.
  • Video abstracts must be no longer than 5 minutes and presented in either American Sign Language or International Sign. Video abstracts may also be anonymized.
  • Abstracts may only be submitted in written OR video format (not both).

All abstracts will undergo double-blind review by an external panel.
