Exoplanet Demographics Workshop in Bern, Switzerland: Observations Confront Theory

On July 9. 2018, about 30 astronomers and planetary scientists gathered in Bern, Switzerland to assess how well planet formation theories held up compared to observations of exoplanet demographics such as the planet mass function and orbital surface density distribution of planetary companions (and both of these as a function of host star mass).

Prof. Meyer helped organize the meeting through the Swiss National Center of Competence in Research PlanetS.  More information about the meeting can be found at:  http://nccr-planets.ch/blog/2018/08/22/confronting-theory-and-observations/.
