Evaluation of our learning methods is critical to our success as it will help us identify the best approaches to learning. Since its inception, the Center has developed and conducted assessment of its courses as part of the Center Project. This is an evaluation of IBL centers at five universities over multiple years. It was done by by Sandra Laursen and her group at the Ethnography & Evaluation Research at the University of Colorado Boulder with the help of Vilma Mesa and Tim Whittemore from our School of Education. The assessment report by Laursen is available at Inquiry-Based Learning in College Mathematics | Ethnography & Evaluation Research | University of Colorado Boulder
In addition we are conducting focus group and instructor interviews of all the IBL classes each term.
