Origin Story
At the Humanitas conference in 2007, David K. Money, of Cambridge University enthralled his audience with the story of his life-long preoccupation with Latin verse composition. From this event, at once comprehensible, inspiring and hilarious (all in Latin), the idea of Inter Versiculos sprang to life.
why and how?
The primary reason for wishing to write Latin poetry may be the pure enjoyment of doing so. (It can be inspiring to realize that it is possible to express oneself in an elegant and vigorous language that has been loved by countless thousands of authors, both amateur and dedicated, from ancient times to the present.)
