The Persian Student Association is excited to invite you to two events coming up on November 1st! At 6 pm in East Hall Room 1360, one of our incredible members, Parmida Davarmanesh, is holding a lecture called “Iran, Behind the Headlines.” In this talk, she will debunk stereotypes about Iran and share knowledge of Persian culture to the U-M campus. We highly encourage all of you to invite your friends, classmates, and instructors to this event!
After this event, from 7–10 pm, PSA will be holding our annual Welcome Back Dinner! The dinner will be held in the Multicultural Room of the NEW Trotter Multicultural Center on State Street and is catered by Pars Restaurant who has generously offered to donate all of the food! We ask that each attendee donates $5 to our fundraiser for PSA’s 2019–2020 charity, Children of Persia.
