On May 5-7, 2023, we hosted a multi-day symposium and celebration for Dr. Ivette Perfecto. The symposium featured presentations from mentees and colleagues that have worked with Dr. Perfecto over the course of her more than 30 year career, culminating in a keynote address from Ivette.

The German word “Festschrift” literally translates to “celebration writing,” and is usually used to refer to an edited volume honoring the life and work of a respected scholar. We use it here to also refer to the celebration itself.
