I’m recruiting PhD students for Fall 2019 interested in understanding deep-time geobiology/ astrobiology and the evolution of metabolisms, through microbe-mineral lab experiments and mineral characterization! We have multiple projects recreating BIFs in the lab and constraining ancient seawater chemistry — including field work, multi-technique characterization, and anoxic glovebox work. Come join us!
