Deniz Vural
Social Media Manager
Deniz Vural holds an MA in History and History of Art and an MSc by Research in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh. Her research has focused on Ottoman art and fashion, cultural exchanges and Westernisation in the Ottoman Empire, the use of video games for the teaching of Islamic art history. Since graduating, Deniz has been working as the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) Lead for the Digital Lab for Islamic Visual Cultures and Collection at the University of Edinburgh. As part of this role, she has recently worked as a consultant on the upcoming video game Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
