The Editorial Board welcomes submissions from all U-M faculty, students, and staff who wish to use their expertise to contextualize, analyze, and interpret current events as they pertain to our campus community. The blog format means that we can respond to campus events with more speed, depth, and diversity of opinion than official university communications may allow. While the blog is hosted by LSA, any posts on the blog are the author’s own work, and will not be expected to represent the official positions of the university.
We are currently looking for posts that fall into the following categories:
Opinion Piece: 700 words
History and Context (e.g., Pieces that seek to contextualize the variants of “scientific racism” or the history of anti-immigrant politics in the US): 1000-1200 words
Research Brief (Findings/recently published work): 1000-1200 words
Keywords/definitions: 500 words
Debates: (laying out a debate in a field): >1000k words
Please use the form below to give us some initial information and a member of the Board will be in touch. Thanks you for your interest.
