Anthony Lappé and Dan Goldman talk about their graphic novel “Shooting War” out this November from Grand Central Publishing.
We’ll discuss how their collaboration began and how the project progressed from its early days on Smithmag.net as a digital comic to its present book form. Lappe will talk about his documentary about Iraq, “Battleground: 21 Days on the Empire’s Edge” and his website the Guerilla News Network. Goldman will mention vector illustration and his up-coming project covering the 2008 presidential primaries. Both work within the realm where art meets political consciousness.
