I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, studying Spanish and Chemistry. I am interested in the medium of filmmaking within the context of Latin American guerrilla movements and its historical and philosophical relationships with various forms of colonial cultural and artistic movements. I also am interested in the diverging readings of art amongst the early twentieth-century Peruvian left and the effects and influences of these debates on later Latin American art discourse. I work as the music director at the university radio station WCBN outside of school and write short fiction and pieces about experimental music in my free time.
