My research interests lie in literature, Marxism and psychoanalysis. Previously, for my Masters thesis, I worked on the politics of the short fictions by Jorge Luis Borges and the similarities in his use of language with that of Walter Benjamin. My current dissertation project deals primarily with the transformations in the form of detective fiction in the works of 20th century Argentinian writers, and the lessons Marxism and psychoanalysis can draw from them. I am also interested in the objectivity of the Value form, theories of Ideology and commodity fetishism, Critical Theory, Hegelian Marxism.
