The Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS) warmly invites all of us mathematicians to attend the 2018 MIDAS Annual Symposium, titled “Serving Society through Data Science,” to be held October 8-9 at the Rackham Building. The lineup of speakers has been set, and we are excited to bring several preeminent data scientists to Ann Arbor. Several U-M faculty members and students from across campus will also present their high-impact data science research. This includes a panel on Industry perspectives on data science and social good, and
nearly 90 posters at the poster session and student competition.
