Free Lunch, Bonding and Professional Development

The Student Advisory Board is sponsoring a working lunch 12-2 on Thursday December 6 for all GSIs interested in discussing issues surrounding  teaching. This is a great opportunity to get to know graduate students, post-docs and faculty in our department whom you may not normally get to meet.

This lunch is an informal gathering to share ideas and ask questions in a friendly environment, different from the more formal course meetings. Both novice and expert teachers are welcome to attend!
The event will take place in the common room, with tables designated for different topics. Come chat about the end of the semester and brainstorm new strategies to implement next semester! Lunch is provided!
You do not need to be teaching this semester to attend.  Please RSVP so the correct amount of food is ordered. You can also indicate your interest in volunteering to help this year or in the future on the RSVP form.
Please direct questions to Francesca Gandini, who is the main organizer.
