Jane Street Grad Fellowship

Folks at Jane Street wrote to me excited to announce their inaugural Jane Street Graduate Research Fellowship! This is for PhD students who will be in their 2nd-6th year of study in mathematics, computer science, or statistics in the 2023-2024 academic year. Applications are currently open and are evaluated on a rolling basis. International students are also encouraged to apply.

They are looking for PhD students who share their “love for challenging problems, puzzles, and deeply technical thinking.” Selected participants will receive full tuition support, a stipend, and the option to visit and speak at Jane Street’s NYC office.

Let me know if you’d like to be put in touch with Michigan Math PhD Rafe Kinsey (2014, advisor Sijue Wu), now at Jane Street in finance & strategy in quant trading.

You can also reach out to graduate-research-fellowship@janestreet.com with questions.
