Michigan Math Graduate students often find some surprising GSI positions. The Computer Science Department regularly hires math grad students to teach EECS 203 (discrete math), EECS 376 (Theory of CS), EECS 475 (Algorithms), and more. The Psychology Department can hire math GSIs to teach their first-year graduate introduction to Stats, and the Stats department is often looking for GSIs to fill intro stats (Stats 151) and basic probability (Stats 425/Math 425). Ross Business school, and other summer programs, also hires calculus teachers. Sign up for posts from this blog site to get announcements of openings.
