Between 2009-2012, the University of Michigan department of chemistry participated in a bilateral undergraduate research program with Tsinghua University that was funded by the US National Science Foundation, Pfizer (Shanghai), private donors to the University of Michigan, and Tsinghua University. That program has ended.
