University students have an opportunity to engage in mentoring activities during the summer term that is a camp experience. UM Mentors spend 8-12 hours each week at Peace Neighborhood Center (PNC) which is located on the west side of Ann Arbor. PNC is dedicated to providing programs for children, families and individuals who are affected by social and economic problems. They help more than 70 children each summer make productive use of what otherwise might be unsupervised, idle time.
