For Colleagues

My teaching reflects my research interests in postcolonial literature, film studies, and critical theory, as well as an ongoing interest in digital forms for reading and writing pedagogy.

I received an award for my work with digital annotation assignments from Brown University in 2011. A description of that approach, complete with comments from my students, can be found here. A more recent example of my pedagogical use of digital media, complete with some of my students’ outstanding video essays, has been showcased here by the University of Michigan.

I am happy to share teaching materials with fellow educators.
