Info session and scholarship opportunity in neuropsychology

Hi,

I’m Dr. Allison Lake, a neuropsychologist and assistant professor at Michigan Medicine. I’m assisting with an exciting grant sponsored by the University of Michigan and New2Neuropsychology (N2N), which has created opportunities specifically for underrepresented college students in Southeast Michigan to learn more about the field of neuropsychology.

N2N is an organization focused on demystifying the process of preparing for a career in neuropsychology, while increasing access and opportunities for historically underrepresented students. N2N hosts presentations and networking events and shares resources through their website (www.new2neuropsych.org) and Twitter (@New2Neuropsych). As part of the current grant, N2N is hosting events for students across Southeast Michigan, including presentations about neuropsychology, and an essay contest in which your students can win amazing prizes such as textbooks, sponsored membership in a professional neuropsychology organization, and travel awards to attend the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology conference in Washington DC in June 2023.

Please see the attached flyers for the upcoming virtual N2N event and essay contest. We would love for you to share these flyers with your students, particularly those that may have interest in the brain! Any questions can be directed to myself and the project organizer, Taylor Schmitt (tgreif).

Thank you!
