Dr. Kathy Xie<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forming associations among the features of an experience is fundamental to remembering that experience in the future. \u00a0This project investigates how \u201cprocessing&#8221; in working memory influences one\u2019s memory for associations in the longer term, that is, minutes, hours or even days later. \u00a0These experiments compare the immediate and long term benefits of restudying briefly presented word pairs, versus testing memory for those word pairs.
