About the Project

Goal

Our research goal is to understand why people decide to give plasma as well as what the process and experience of giving plasma is like. We are surveying people who have experience giving plasma in the United States to better understand this growing practice.

Our Methods

We are conducting surveys and interviews to better understand the experience of giving plasma. Surveys will be conducted online. Some people who completed the survey will be invited to participate in a follow-up interview. Interviews will take place remotely via Zoom. All participants will be compensated for their time.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.

• As a token of appreciation, you will receive a $10 gift card for completing the survey via email. 
• If invited to participate in an interview, the interview will take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete and will occur virtually. As a token of appreciation, you will receive a $50 gift card.
