Episode 2 – Jon Wells, RC Director

Get to know the RC Director Jon Wells. He came to the RC as associate director in 2014 and then stepped into the role as Director in 2015. Many of our alums have asked to learn more about him and his endeavors as director, and that’s why he’s the subject of the second episode. You’ll also get a sense for his early experiences that led him to study American history, and for the passion he carries into his current research projects. You’ll also get a sense for the faculty and leadership experience in the RC, and what he’s been up to as director.

Pilot Episode – May 2, 2018 – Stina Perkins and Darian Razdar

Season One

This is our pilot episode of the yet unnamed RC Podcast! Robby Griswold, Communications and Outreach Coordinator at the RC, interviews Stina Perkins and Darian Razdar, two seniors in the class of 2018. The interview is a veritable tour of the RC, and will drop you “in media res” in the RC student experience. Darian and Stina will help you better understand:

– RC Forums (and they define this student-run program in the interview)
– Experiences with faculty and courses in the RC that were instrumental in determining their academic trajectory
– The spirit of the RC student body and the interaction of student groups with faculty and administration of the RC
– Hear how students enjoy the resources of the larger College of Literature, Science, and the Arts while getting the benefit of the tight-knit community in the RC
– Fun “oddities” that may appear that add to the charm and delight of the Residential College!
