Two “RC” Books on Library of Michigan 2015 Notable List

DetAnthCallTwo of the 20 books on the 2015 Library of Michigan Notable Books list have RC roots: A Detroit Anthology (an assortment of poems, essays, and photographs about Detroit), edited by RC Creative Writing alum Anna Clark, and Making Callaloo in Detroit (a collection of stories about growing up in Detroit with Caribbean roots) by RC Creative Writing instructor Lolita Hernandez. RC alum Peter Anderson: Waiting for Godot, and Supernatural

Screen shot 2015-03-22 at 6.55.29 AMRC Creative Writing alum Peter Anderson recently played Vladimir in a Vancouver production of Waiting for Godot. Click here for a review in the Times Colonist. Peter also had a small role as a North Carolina sheriff in an episode of Supernatural (“The Things They Carried”). The episode is viewable on the CW’s Supernatural website; Peter appears between 5:10 and 6:41.

RC Alum Shelley Ettinger’s first book gets starred review from Library Journal
