Talking Chapbooks with Zilka Joseph

Zilka Joseph will read from What Dread and Lands I Live In, which were nominated for a Pushcart and a PEN America award, respectively. She will illustrate how theme and sequence work in her chapbooks including her upcoming book Sharp Blue Search of Flame(Wayne State University Press), talk about her process, and offer suggestions to help you hone your own chapbook or book. Zilka Joseph has an MFA in Poetry from U of M, and she currently teaches workshops, works as a manuscript coach and editor, and mentors writers in the Ann Arbor community.
