This page is intended as an activity and resource hub for instructors of Romance languages and cultures who are looking to incorporate topics of gender diversity in their curriculum. Select a language and course level to find activities for your class.

Activities are sorted by language and course level.

Course equivalencies within the department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan:

– Courses numbered 100, 101, 102 and 103 are part of the first year of the language-requirement sequence. 
– Courses numbered 231 and 232 are part of the second year of the language-requirement sequence. 
French 235 and Spanish 277 are the first courses that students take after satisfying the language requirement in either language. 
French 270+, Italian 300+, Portuguese 287+, and Spanish 280+ fall within the respective major/minor programs.
