An article in the Artic Sounder appeared over the holidays describing a group project with UM faculty Kerri Pratt and Iḷisaġvik College faculty Linda Nicolas-Figueroa. Group members Jeffrey Spencer and Danielle Maxwell have been working with these faculty to design and implement course-based research on snow processes that is guided by traditional Iñupiaq knowledge. This project is funded by the NSF NNA-EHR Polar Award 1821884.
